Donations are processed through secure online payment providers. Due to current limitations in the availability of international payment services for Solomon Islands–based accounts, funds are initially received into a designated custodial account in Australia, established specifically to hold donations on behalf of the Foundation under a formal custodial agreement.
Funds are then transferred to the Afunakwa Foundation in the Solomon Islands and applied to Foundation activities in accordance with decisions made collectively by the trustees. All trustees have visibility over the use of funds, and decisions are not made without shared awareness and agreement. Records are maintained to support transparency and appropriate oversight.
